Aine's Banner

Ballysadare village is situated five miles from Sligo Town, just off the N4 main Sligo/Dublin road. Ballysadare (Owenmore) river has some excellent salmon fishing and the falls are a splendid sight. Middleton & Pollexfen, relatives of W. B. Yeats, owned flour mills in Ballysadare. The poet had fond memories of his visits here and Ballysadare is the probable location of his ' Sally Gardens'
